Oberhausen: Bus trip to the moon - shopping - sharks
Ruhr.2010: The Ruhr Metropolis is European Capital of Culture
The Ruhr region in 2010, presents itself as the cultural capital of Europe with an impressive industrial heritage and spectacular projects. An entire industrial region converts into a cultural region which we will visit!
We start at 10 a.m. (be punctual!) in Cologne with the blue vintage bus and a glass of Prosecco to the Ruhr Metropolis. After a joyful journey on the bus of the 1970s with the similar young tour-guide we reach Oberhausen.

We will experience a formidable Moon exhibition at the impressive 117 meter high gas holder with a viewing platform and mind blowing views of the Ruhr-area. Not only that, also the largest shopping center in Europe - the CentrO, and the Sealife Aquarium and the Entertainment district of CentrO parks can be explored. Anyone who likes a slightly different experience can visit the nearby Museum of Industry.
For the stay in Oberhausen, we have about 6 hours. Then we will go back together to Cologne, where it will be 7 p.m. - a good time for the Evening Program.
