The sport of sport climbing is being held at the KletterFABRIK center in Ehrenfeld, a part of Cologne just north of the city center. From Neumarkt or Friesenplatz take U-3, direction Mengenich, or U-4, direction Bochlemünd. Another option is to take U-1, direction Welden, or U-7, direction Freschen, and change to U-13 at Aachenerstrasse/Gürtel, direction Holweide.

From U-3 or U-4, use the Venloer Str/Ehrenfeld Gertel exit, then walk back along Venloer Strasse to the Ehrenfeld Gertel corner. Turn right along Ehrenfeld Gertel. From U-13 use the Venloer Strasse stop, and cross to the west side of Ehrenfeld Gertel. Walk south on Ehrenfeld Gertel 200 meters, past Burger King, turning right onto Volgelsanger Strasse. Walk 250 meters to Licht strasse, the second left from Vogelsanger Strasse, then 150 meters to alley across from "Live Music Hall". The entrance is marked by a sign and the painted name “KletterFABRIK” on the brick wall. Walk through "teardown" alley, the building is in the rear.
