Categories and Divisions of Competition
The following competitions will be offered:
Individual time trial and group start race will be timed and divided into he following age classifications: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. All other races have no age classifications.
During time trials slipstream is prohibited and will be penalized.

Participation
Teams registering together should bring some sort of unifying clothing, so they are easily identified as one team. Teams which are assembled on the day of the race, will be given a unifying team identification from the race officials.
Rules
The inline speed skating tournaments will be raced according to the rules of the Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports (FIRS), www.rollersports.org [3], the German Rollsport- und Inline-Verband, www.driv.de [4], and the federation in Nordrhein-Westphalia, www.riv-nrw.de [5].
Equipment
All skaters must wear a helmet when racing! It is also recommended that all skaters wear the necessary personal protective equipment. Bracelets and necklaces are prohibited during racing. Skaters may only use inline skates which comply with FIRS regulations, quads are prohibited. Skaters will not receive water or drinks while racing, however skaters are allowed to carry their own plastic drinking bottles. Transponders used to record and calculate time will be distributed to racers at time of registration. Racers must pay a deposit for transponders, which will be refunded when transponders are returned.

Food service facilities are available at the finish line area.
First-Aid
First-aid stations and paramedics will be available.
Tickets
Entrance to tournaments is free for all spectators.
