Early registration is twice as nice: many disciplines have a set number of starting places available!
Your registration will not only secure participation in your discipline or cultural event, but you will also be included in the big opening ceremony on July 31st, 2010, at the RheinEnergieStadion, as well as the closing ceremony on August 7th, 2010. Together with the other about 12,000 participants from more than 70 countries you will enter the stadium and will be celebrated by an audience of up to 34,000.

Friends register normally and only pay a registration fee of 125 Euros. Friends of the participants have a reserved seat at the opening ceremonies, may enter the stadium with the athletes or cultural participants – which is normally reserved only for registered sports and culture participants – and will receive a participation medal, welcome package, and free public transportation for the week in Cologne.
