Description
The hike will take you through the Nordeifel National Park established in 2005. The sanctuary with its beautiful and diversified landscape lies 65 kilometers southwest of Cologne. Over a stretch of 18 km you will find only moderate gradients. The hike starts and ends at the Vogelsang castle, an Ordensburg from the times of National Socialism. A tour of the Adlershof and the castle is suggestive of the buildings and their history.
NOTE: the challenge of a typical low mountain range hike. Joint ride and return by train to Kall, then by bus to the castle.
The fee per participant includes the trail guide, public transportation there and back, packed lunch, and insurance.
