Besides the classical single free skating the skaters will also appear in pairs and ice dancing in all imaginable combinations, entertaining team presentations and some exciting surprises. The participants are international in composition. Skaters from the USA, Russia, Scandinavia, and of course from the European neighboring countries will fill the spectators with enthusiasm – as well as many German participants.
For the past four years, the Fabulous Cup has taken place in Cologne, an ice skating competition that may count as the “Forerunner of the Gay Games Cologne”. After the exciting competition the exhibition skating is the highlight and an enchantment for the public. For many years the ice-skating rinks have sold out for this event, and that is also expected by the organizers for the skating exhibition at Gay Games VIII.
