A middle-aged treasure – Limburg an der Lahn
Germany was a country destroyed by the war. There is often not much left of what made the beauty of the middle-aged cityscapes. But there are some few cities that were spared by the war and the building rage of the 60’s and the 70’s. Limburg an der Lahn represents such a lucky anomaly, located 75 miles south from Cologne, adjacent to the A3 direction Frankfurt. A special attraction is the Limburger Dome, known in all Germany, which you can already see from far away, decorated the back of the old 1000 DM note.
