Description
The sound of the world in Cologne
The festival week will culminate in a gala concert where instrumentalists and vocalists will join together in a performance at Cologne's Academy of Music, one of the largest and most renowned music conservatories in Europe.

The first part of the evening will feature "Team Band", a group comprising all the instrumentalists taking part at the Gay Games VIII Cologne 2010, who will perform a varied programme featuring a number of different styles.

After the interval, sit back and enjoy "Stimmfusion", an amalgamation of Cologne's gay, lesbian, and mixed gay & lesbian choirs. The Festival Choir vocalists will then take to the stage and hundreds of voices will sing out and touch the hearts of the audience. Numbers will be sung by mixed, female, and male voices.

For the grand finale, everyone will join together as the evening reaches its rousing climax with a joint performance of Cologne's city anthem by the Team Choir and Team Band. Be part of it… and enjoy an evening filled with emotion!
