VIII. Gay Games Cologne 2010

40 athletes from 9 countries lined up to elect the best fighter of this year’s Gay Games. After around 111 fights the winners are confirmed, among them also a female participant.

Stephanie had to surrender to her male competitor, but was happy anyway to be part of the Gay Games in Cologne. “The atmosphere at the wrestling competition was awesome. I will be part of the next Gay Games, but then I´ll try bodybuilding.” The American, who participated in Cologne for the first time at the Gay Games got inspired by the bodybuilders. “As soon as I am back in San Francisco, I´ll start training” says the wrestler.

 

The spectators and participants weren´t only excited about the competitions. Also the organization went perfect. In the end, all participants hugged each other, not for competition but to say “Good bye”.
