Transportation
For Sportpark Muengersdorf, take tram 1 (direction Junkersdorf/Weiden) to station "RheinEnergieStadion" (15 mins. from Neumarkt).
Categories and Divisions of Competition
No age divisions. One "Open" division for men, women or mixed teams. In case that more than three women-only teams register, a separate women's division will be formed.
Participation
No more than 20 teams may compete.
Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 5 games. Each team will play no more than 2 games each day.
Teams may be Women, Men or Mixed. Teams contain at least 7, and no more than 20 players, two of them being goalkeepers. Players can register to only one team. Exception: Women competing in the women's division may also compete in the open division. Players may register to compete on any team, regardless of their place of residence.
All competitors must be currently registered in accordance with the regulations governing masters swimming in their country. Any competitor has to be at least 18 years old on August 1, 2010.
Deadline for entries: May 31, 2010.
Rules
The tournament will run under the rules for Masters of the Deutscher Schwimmverband (DSV), the Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA, www.fina.org) and the International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA, www.igla.org).
Duration of play: 4 periods of 6 minutes, 2 minute interval between first and second period as well as between second and third period. 5 minute interval between second and third period.
Ball possession: 35 seconds.
15 minute warm up before each game.
Equipment
Complete swimwear and accessories must be brought by each athlete, except water polo caps which will be provided by event organizers. All swimwear and accessories must comply with FINA and IGLA regulations. A warm-up pool is available at the venues.

Food service provided by the cafeteria and cafés in Sportpark Muengersdorf.
For the Kartaeuserwall venue, there are many restaurants nearby.
First-Aid
First-aid stations and paramedics at venues.
Tickets
Entrance to Water Polo events is free for all spectators; subject to space available and security regulations.
