Transportation
Take tram 1 (direction Junkersdorf/Weiden) to station "RheinEnergieStadion" or "Junkersdorf" (15 mins. from Neumarkt by tram, then 5 mins. on foot)

Categories and Divisions of Competition
 

 
Solo: 1 person / Duet: 2 people / Trio: 3 people / Team: 4-8 people / Combination: 4-10 people.  Solo, Duet, Trio, and Team competitions consist of a technical routine and a free routine. Combination competition consists of only a free routine.
There will only be one mix class within one age group. Gender division is applied if 4 or more different contestants of each gender (male and female for solos; male, female and mix for the other events) are registered for the same age group for a given event. The same applies for mixed TEAM, TRIO etc.
The average age of the competitors in a routine shall be determined by adding the ages of the actual swimmers, divided by the number of swimmers (substitute swimmers not included).
The Technical Routine is obligatory for SOLO, DUET, TRIO and TEAM (FINA MSS, Appendix I).
Time limits for Technical Routines:
                                     SOLO                 up to 1:30 minutes + 15 seconds
                                     DUET / TRIO      up to 1:40 minutes + 15 seconds
                                     TEAM                 up to 1:50 minutes + 15 seconds
 
Time limits for Free Routines:
                                     SOLO                  up to 3:00 minutes + 15 seconds
                                     DUET / TRIO       up to 3:30 minutes + 15 seconds
                                     TEAM                  up to 4:00 minutes + 15 seconds
                                     COMBINATION   up to 5:00 minutes + 15 seconds
                                     (including ten (10) seconds for the deck movement)

All competitors have to confirm their participation and that of their partners for DUET, TRIO, TEAM, COMBINATION including substitute swimmers by six o’clock p.m. (18.00 hrs) on the day prior to the event.

Participation
The competition will run under the rules for Masters of FINA, DSV and IGLA.
Competitors shall be registered with their federations. DUET, TRIO, TEAM and COMBINATION competitors shall be representatives of the same club.
Any competitor must have reached the age of 18 by August 4, 2010.
Each competitor is allowed to participate in each of the competitions but only once in each age group.
Swimmers of DUET, TRIO, TEAM or COMBINATION have to be registered with their full name. For TEAM and/or COMBINATION, a team name has to be specified.
For DUET, one substitute swimmer can be named, for TEAM and COMBINATION, two substitute swimmers are allowed.
 
Rules
The programmes will be swim according to the rules for Masters of the Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA) www.fina.org and the recommandations of International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) www.igla.org.

Tickets
The number of spectators is limited for security reasons, admission will be free.
 
Registration ends on May 31, 2010!
Right now you can register yourself either for your sport or your cultural event of choice. Registration fee will be 150 Euro. An additional fee will be paid, depending on your sport / cultural event (Synchronized Swimming is charged by 40 Euro). The registration fee covers the confirmation of the participation as well as a ticket for both the opening and the closing ceremony, a public transit pass, a participation medal, and a welcome package.
