VIII. Gay Games Cologne 2010

Soccer (Football) is known as “the beautiful game.” Some 900 football players will have a lot of fun at the Cologne Gay Games.

On pitches - used for football for years now by the “Come-Together-Cup” (Benefit Soccer Show Event – come-together-cup. - surrounding the RheinEnergieStadion, two divisions will play with 12-18 players per team on the large fields and a “Fun” Division with 7-12-players per team on the small field. After the group matches the winners will continue on to the knock-out phase.

We are proud to say that the Gay Games tournament will be at the same time the host of the Gay and Lesbian soccer world championship of the IGLFA.

A special extra: On the sand where the Beach Volleyball players toss the ball over the net, the “Soccer Celebration a la playa” will take place
