Those who only associate Pool – Billiards with smoke-filled bars and beer will get to see quite different aspects of the game at the Cologne Gay Games (although you’re welcome to enjoy a beer!). We’re expecting 128 athletes for some very suspenseful competitions. In the line-up are 8-ball and 9-ball events.
In 8-ball, the players must try to sink either all “solid” or “striped” balls, followed by the eight-ball. In the fast-paced 9-ball, only the “solid” balls and the “striped” nine-ball will be sunk.
The competition will take place at the billiard centre Cologne-Cue-Club and can be reached within minutes from Cologne's city centre via the tramway.
