The Village of Longerich, a suburb of Cologne, is the base for the In-Line Speed Skating event. The skaters will race around a course on the streets of the town. The easiest way to get to Longerich is to take the S-11 from the Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), direction Neuss/Düsseldorf. The stop is the Longerich station, a 10-minute trip from Hauptbahnhof.

The start/finish of the competition is along Longericher Hauptstrasse. To get to the start/finish line exit the train and down stairs, turning left and descending more steps to exit the station. Cross the small parking lot and turn right on Grethen Strasse, following it for 275 meters. Grethen Strasse ends at Longericher Hauptstrasse, the location of the start/finish of the race.
