VIII. Gay Games Cologne 2010

The organization of the Gay Games VIII Cologne got praised a lot for their good arrangement of the two-day golf tournament at municipal golf course in Roggendorf-Thenhoven by the 208 participants. Especially the condition of the scenic course caused a good atmosphere.

In the Women’s competition Stefanie and Inger from Germany got gold and silver, Jacobien from the Netherlands bronze.

In the Men’s competition won Chris from Colombia. Chris’ gold medal was not only the first medal for Colombia, but Chris is also the only participant from this South American country. Silver went to Andreas from Germany and Michael from the USA won bronze.

In the Mixed Team competition the women were in the lead. Gold went to Isabelle and Sylvie from France. Doris and Martina from Germany won silver. Even bronze went with Petra and Gerhard to Germany. Therefore Gerhard was the only man who won a medal in Team competition.
