Transportation
All venues are located close to the city center and are easily accessed by public transportation.

• Use tram stop "Michaelshoven" Line 16 in direction of Wesseling/Bonn Bad Godesberg for the Rodenkirchen Sporting Complex
• Use tram stop "Pohligstrasse" Line 12 in direction of Zollstock for the Suedstadion Sporting Complex

The badminton tournament will consist of two session, Preliminary Rounds and Final Rounds, in each category.  The Preliminary Rounds will be in round robin format.  The Final Rounds will be a knock-out format.

Participation
Registration for Doubles/Mixed Doubles matches must be completed by both players.  Each player may register in up to two divisions. 
 
Rules of Play
The badminton tournament must follow the rules of the Badminton World Federation (BWF).  Rules are viewable www.internationalbadminton.org
 

Play Mode

In all categories there are two winning sets for each game. In each group there
will be likely four participants or double partner teams. This means that in each
division there will be at least three games (six up to nine sets). These mode will be
played in all categories and can not be changed. 

Equipment
Players must bring their own rackets. Shuttlecocks will be provided for all categories. In the categories T and A the player have to play their matches with feather shuttlecocks. In the categories B and C the players may play their matches with feather or nylon shuttlecocks. If one participant in the categories B and C does not feel comfortable to play with feather shuttlecocks then the matches have to be play with nylon shuttlecocks. Proper footwear with light soles is compulsory. 
 
Services 
Food service is available at all venues.  A variety of restaurants can be also be found in close proximity to all venues. 
 
First-Aid 
First-aid stations and paramedics will be available at all venues.
 
Tickets 
Entrance is free for all spectators, subject to space available and security regulations.
