VIII. Gay Games Cologne 2010

Badminton is one of the largest sports at the Gay Games VIII Cologne 2010. We're expecting about 400 athletes. We have reserved three gymnasiums in Cologne's city centre as the venues. These gymnasiums are very centrally located and can be reached within minutes.

In badminton players try to hit the shuttlecock over the net in a way which leaves the opponent unable to volley. This makes it fast and dynamic – players should be fit and able to run fast and long. The event offers competition in singles, mixed and same-sex doubles.
