Preliminary rounds will be pool play, final rounds Knock Out system. Pool play and finals rounds will be played on grass fields as well as artifical surface.
The finals of Division I will take place August 7, 2010 at the NetCologne Stadion on grass fields.

Participation
Team size for Men's Division I and II (11-a-side) : 12 - 18 players , for Women's Division II and III (Fun-Division) as 7-a-side : 7 - 12 players
Rules of Play:
Division I (women and men) and Division II (men) Soccer (Football) tournaments will be played according to the rules of the International Gay and Lesbian Football Association (IGLFA) www.iglfa.org.
The rules for the 11-a-side-tournaments of the "International Gay and Lesbian Football Association" (IGLFA), www.iglfa.org, are also valid for the tournaments at 7-a-side (Women Division II and Fun Division) with the only exception of no offside.

Equipment
All players must bring their own football boots for grass fields as well as artifical surface. Shin-pads are recommended. Teams should also bring two sets of jerseys, one dark, one light. Each player has to identifiable by a number on the back of his jerseys.

Food service is available at the cafeterias and cafés at Sportpark Muengersdorf
First-Aid
First-aid stations and paramedics will be available at all venues
Tickets
Entrance to tournaments is free for all spectators.
Miscellaneous
In Gay Games years the FGG and the IGLFA agreed that the soccer tournament at the Gay Games would be the “IGLFA World Championship.”
In order to play at IGLFA tournaments ALL participating teams must be current members
of the Association. Membership must be paid to the IGLFA before the tournament commences. Teams that attend the tournament having not paid their membership will not be allowed to take part.
For the Gay Games year the IGLFA membership is $40(£25 or 25Euros) and the membership runs from April 1st 2010 until March 31st 2011.
