Venues
- Information meeting, road race, criterium race and Mountain Bike race will be at the Sportpark Muengersdorf.
- Individual and team trial will be at the Wahner Heide near the KoelnBonn Airport.
- Road race will be at Cologne-Longerich

Transportation
- Sportpark Muengersdorf:
Take tram 1 (direction Junkersdorf/Weiden) to station "RheinEnergieStadion" or "Junkersdorf" (15 mins. from Neumarkt) - Transportation to Wahner Heide:
- Take tram 9 to final station Koenigsforst, then ca. 3 km by bike or S-Bahn from Cologne main station to airport KoelnBonn, then short walk to the starting area
- Cologne-Longerich:
S11 Cologne main station to S tram station Longerich (duration 9 minutes) from there 3 minutes to the starting and finishing line

The competitions will be timed and divided into the following age classifications: |

Participants, Materials, Equipment
All racers must wear a helmet during the entire competition.
Road Races:
Recumbent bikes are not allowed, no tri bars and no Mountain Bikes are allowed.
The racing circuit is flat and approximately 2.2 km long. The various distances (number of laps) are:
- Men licensed 25 = 55 km
- Men unlicensed 17 = 37.4 km
- Women licensed 17 = 37.4 km
- Women unlicensed 14 = 30.8 km
Criterium
There will be a racing circuit of approximately 1.3 km.
The various distances (number of laps) are:
- Men licensed 16
- Men unlicensed 12
- Women licensed 12
- Women unlicensed 8
After each lap racers will get points in the following order:
- 5 for the first
- 3 for the second
- 2 for the third
- 1 for the fourth
Points are accumulated for the entire race and highest points win.
Any rider lapped will be taken out of the race.
In case there are more than 50 participants in one category we will have preliminary rounds with 2/3 of the number of laps mentioned above.
Mountain Bike race
There will be a racing circuit of approximately 2.5 km. The course starts with paving then proceeds into a forest and around a lake with dirt single track and includes a steep hill.
The various distances (number of laps) are:
- Men licensed 14 = 35 km
- Men unlicensed 12 = 30 km
- Women licensed 12 = 30 km
- Women unlicensed 10 = 25 km
Individual time trial
The distances will be 16 km for all categories.
Team time trial
The distances will be 16 km for all teams. A team consists of four riders and the third passing the finish line will be counted for the final result of the team.
Mountain Bikes are allowed but the entire team has to use the same type of bike.
Rules
The competition rules of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), www.uci.ch, as well the Bund Deutscher Radfahrer (BDR), www.rad-net.de, will apply.
Each licensed rider will need a valid license. Participating riders from Germany only need a domestic license from Bund Deutscher Radfahrer. All participants from outside Germany will need an international license which they can obtain from their national biking organization.
For unlicensed bikers games cologne together with the Bund Deutscher Radfahrer will develop a way to insure those participants. Details will be communicated later.

Registration
Right now you can register yourself either for your sport or your cultural event of choice. Registration fee will be 150 Euro. An additional fee will be paid, depending on your sport / cultural event (Cycling is charged by 80 Euro). The registration fee covers the confirmation of the participation as well as a ticket for both the opening and the closing ceremony, a public transit pass, a participation medal, and a welcome package.
