You’ve been able to get information from our website for a few weeks now on the many details of the 34 disciplines and 5 cultural events, and we are now starting online registration for the Gay Games VIII Cologne 2010. Ready, set, go!!!
Registration is only through our website www.games-cologne.com. Simply complete the registration form and select the discipline or cultural event you would like to participate in. The participation fee can simply be paid by credit card. Or if you prefer, you can transfer the money to our bank account. Please note your house bank will typically charge you a fee for international transfers.
Register by 31.12.2008 and save 25 Euro: you will only pay 100 Euro for the registration fee, starting 01.01.2009 the fee increases to 125 Euro. Depending on the discipline or cultural event, there will be an additional fee ranging from 40 Euro and 100 Euro.
Early registration is twice as nice: many disciplines have a set number of starting places available!
Your registration will not only secure participation in your discipline or cultural event, but you will also be included in the big opening ceremony on July 31st, 2010, at the RheinEnergieStadion, as well as the closing ceremony on August 7th, 2010. Together with the other about 12,000 participants from more than 70 countries you will enter the stadium and will be celebrated by an audience of up to 34,000.
To get you to all the venues of the Gay Games, each participant will receive a one-week travel pass: you’ll be able to use all busses and railways in and around Cologne. In addition, each participant will receive a welcome package and a participation medal for the Gay Games VIII Cologne 2010.
