Gay Games VIII Cologne 2010 Choir Festival
Be part of it! Choruses from all over the world will be filling Cologne with the sound of music! On the streets and in the squares, in concert halls and sports halls - singers will be setting the Gay Games to song!
Fusion now! A warm welcome in the city with probably the world's most colorful lesbian and gay choir scene. There are now nine lesbian, gay and gay-lesbian mixed choruses in Cologne. A few years ago they all got together under the name of "Stimmfusion" (voice fusion) to put on joint concerts and they are all now supporting the Gay Games in Cologne.

- The FestivalChoir will take part in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies - full choruses as well as individual singers can participate in these events.
- Please remember that rehearsals for the opening ceremony will start on 29 July 2010. Participation is mandatory. Further rehearsals for the gala and closing ceremony will be held during the course of the festival week.
- OpenAir: We are going to fill the streets and squares of Cologne with music - all choruses, bands, and cheerleading groups will be given the opportunity of presenting programs on stages at the Gay Games Village throughout the city, in the area around the cathedral, on the banks of the Rhine, in the sports park, and at many other locations.
- "Stimmfusion" is inviting a total of 20 choruses to participate in four Choir Concerts to be held in a popular Cologne theatre. Each ensemble will be able to present a part of the program.
- - The Cologne University of Music and Dance provides the setting on 5 August for the big Gala Concert of vocal and band music - en evening full of emotion in one of the largest and oldest schools of music in Europe.
- SingingWorkshop: In various workshops singers can develop their own voice, get to know several musical styles, and exchange experiences with other singers.
