Cheerleading is more than choreographed routines with elements of tumbling, dance, jumps, acrobatic stunts and fast-pace music. All above it’s a lot fun when cheerleaders, ROTC-teams and squads will entertain the audiences at the different sports venues and cultural stages throughout the City of Cologne.
Cheerleading will present a fabulous exhibition of routines and stunts at the Neumarkt stage on Monday, August 2, 2010. Teams will present their best and loudest performances to crowds of spectators. The cheerleading exhibition is always a highlight of the Gay Games, and this one will be even more exciting at the Neumarkt Village.
The excitement extends to the first ever Cheerleading tournament at the Gay Games. Participating groups will be asked to present a free program of 2.5 minutes at the most, with music and choreography to be chosen by the group.
