Description
The hike leads from Wermelskirchen to the Altenberg cathedral, over part of the Jakobsweg trail to Santiago di Compostella. A 19.3 km trail with hardly any gradients offers a beautiful view of the Bergisches Land. The hike starts in the small mountain town of Wermelskirchen and ends at the Altenberg cathedral from the 13th century, a former Cistercian abbey. There you will have the option of a tour. NOTE: the challenge of a typical low mountain range hike. We will ride there and back together using public buses.
